Jacket made from specially commissioned pink and purple silk and velvet woven patchwork fabric, long sleeved and fastening with a single front button. It was made to a vogue pattern, and has a matching evening clutch bag. The fabric was designed by Mhairi Killin, an Edinburgh textile artist, and consists of wide woven strips embellished with machine embroidery in cotton and gold metallic threads. The jacket was worn to a dinner attended by the donor, hosted by the Worshipful company of Weavers in 1994.
