Collections Open Day - Embellished Theme

Venue: The Quilters' Guild, St. Anthony's Hall, Peasholme Green, York

Members of the public are welcome to drop in and see a selection of items from our Collection.

The Collections Open Day's during 2020 are themed according to technique, and this open day explores embellished and fussy-cut items in our Collection. Come along and see some beautiful patchwork and quilted items that have been further decorated with embroidery and embellishments, and also see some fabulous examples of fussy-cutting - where the shapes have been carefully cut to feature a particular motif or design of a printed fabric.

Entrance is FREE.

Open from 10 - 4 on two consecutive days, 16th and 17th June.

Volunteers will be on hand to answer any questions.
