The quilt is machine pieced and hand quilted using assorted cotton prints and cotton wadding. The design continues Deirdre's exploration of the use of the colourwash technique, where fabrics of slightly different grades of colour are carefully placed to form a colourwash effect. Commissioned and presented by Region 9 (Cambridgeshire and Norfolk).
