Blackwork on the Tiles uses reverse applique to create a Jacobean style design of flowers, animals and acorns. The colouring represents blackwork embroidery popular in that period. Commissioned and presented by Region 13 (Cheshire, Lancashire, Merseyside, Isle of Man, North Wales and Greater Manchester).
