This coverlet is composed of seventy large squares of furnishing fabrics that have been randomly placed throughout. The front of the coverlet is hand pieced, while the back is machine stitched. The cotton and linen fabrics on the front are multicoloured, and the backing is made from a patched and worn cotton twill sheet.
