Unfinished coverlet of patchwork squares hand pieced over papers, made from recycled shirt fabrics. This is one of the few items in the collection which is known to have been made by a male rather than female maker.
Neil Hogarth started knitted as a child and then taught himself to crochet. He began quilting when he was 16 years old, and studied ecclesiastical embroidery as part of his Art History degree.
