This quilt is constructed of individually pieced hexagons made from hand dyed and commercial cottons with a small amount of silk. It is embellished with embroidery, beads and tassels, and the colours suggest the heather and rocks in a sunset over the Moors. Commissioned and presented by Region 2 (Kent, Surrey, West and East Sussex).
A quilt from The Nineties Collection - quilts commissioned from quiltmakers working during the 1990s.
