Navy silk quilted jacket with a silk lining, shawl collar and cuffs that are edged in cord and machine quilted in a square diamond design. The main body of the jacket is machine quilted in stripes. It fastens with one single button fastening. Label inside the next reads 'John Holmes & Co, Darley Street, Bradford'.
It is likely that this could once have been a full length dressing gown which has been remodelled into a jacket, as the shawl collar goes nearly to the waistline and a hook and loop have bee added half way up the collar.
