Yellow rayon tea cosy with corded quilting design of stylised flowers and scrolls on both sides. It was made by Mrs R. A. Burtt, a teacher for the National Federation of Women's Institutes, possibly as a teaching sample. Mrs Burtt also worked samples for Averil Colby's book 'Quilting'.
