This cream coloured silk wholecloth quilt has a central flower medallion, with square diamond infill, corner fans and two outer borders containing various quilting motifs. These border motifs include stars, flowers and crowns inside square diamonds on point, with the triangles or zigazags above and below infilled with lines and clamshells. The outer border has tendrils and leaves, shells and heart motifs, which are edged with a scroll type motif.
This piece was hand-quilted with silk thread, and is backed with linen.
