Patchwork coverlet made from furnishing printed cottons, with a pieced circle and lattice centre square, square patches in a 'Trip around the world' variation design and corner squares of hexagons and diamond stars. The coverlet has an outer border of floral furnishing cotton and a white fringe, and is backed with linen. The fabrics are in very good condition and still retain their calendared surface, giving them a shiny appearance.
