A multi-coloured crazy patchwork fragment made from silks, velvets and furnishing fabrics. It is hand pieced and features applied pieces in the shape of leaves. The whole fragment is embellished with ornate embroidery stitches. The fragment contains cotton wadding. The fragment was made for the first wife of the donor's father, who died from consumption in 1904-6.
