Coverlet made up from a central medallion hexagon rosette surrounded by single hexagon rosettes in different colours and designs of cotton, wool and rayon fabrics. The hexagons are pieced over papers and hand sewn together. The reverse of the coverlet is made from square patches of the same fabrics.

This coverlet was made by Mildred Maud Camden, whow was born in 1899. Mildred spent her early working years as a cook in domestic service, and also on the land, but she was a dressmaker in her spare time who won many prizes for her handicrafts at her local W.I in Worcestershire.
