Floral printed hexagons arranged in diamond clusters with green paths, surrounded by a coarse green open weave fabric border. The hexagons are made from cotton and manmade fabrics. The two bottom corners are rounded. The coverlet is backed with green cotton. There is an embroidered signature at the top of the quilt in one hexagon which reads ‘M. P. Ballard 1976’.
