Pieced and embroidered half triangles quilt, with a floral and butterfly embroidered centre and embroidery over the seams and on some squares. It has been made from various materials including of velvet, silk, cotton, linens, satin, felt corduroy, wool and rayon, with green brushed nylon on reverse, and wool wadding. It has a blue frill on three edges. Made by Marion Spring, wife to the novelist Howard Spring.
