Coverlet made from 18 blocks of hand and machine pieced hexagons and diamonds, each one depicting a lady with a hand embroidered face. The blocks are joined by plain cotton sashing and there is a border of hexagons and diamonds along the sides and lower edge. The coverlet is tied to the white cotton twill backing.
It was designed by Halcyon Weir and made up my members of the Runnymeade DAFAS as a raffle quilt to raise money for the elderly.
