In this piece, thirty Turkey red twill baskets are set in blocks on point and alternate with twenty plain squares. The baskets are composed of red and white triangles, and four baskets lay in the four corners of the quilt. The alternating white blocks each have six-petalled rose motifs hand-quilted into them. The cotton fabrics are red and white in colour, and the wadding is made of a thin cotton. It is machine-pieced and hand-quilted.
