Cotton 'Ladders' Pieced Top. Strips of 'brick' rectangles, each strip having 2 vertical borders and finished as a unit, before being stitched to next 'ladder'. Fabrics consist of flannels, shirtings (woven), and floral prints, with several colours, blue, pink, red and cream.
It is thought to have been made on the Channel Islands.
