Velvet table cover made from long hexagons and squares set in a cross pattern which have been pieced over papers. The table cover is edged with a macrame fringe, and the tablecloth is backed with red cotton. It was made by Dorothy Ryder, from Grantham, Lincolnshire, in the late 19th century.
