Mosaic patchwork quilt made from printed and plain cottons with octagonal shapes formed from four elongated hexagon lozenges set around a square. The reverse of the quilt is also pieced from large rectangles of cotton fabric, and it is all hand quilted along the outline of the patchwork pieces. It was made by Mrs Rowley of Barrow in Furness.
