This interesting mosaic coverlet is made from printed and plain cottons and wools, in a mosaic of triangles in the centre, surrounded by a baby blocks design, which is arranged to form stars within hexagons on two sides towards the outer edges. The whole coverlet has a border of large print floral fabric.
The coverlet was made by Mrs Edith Dove who was born between 1857 and 1860, and lived in Southampton.
