This Bazaar Coverlet is made of blue and white cotton pieced squares on point with cream embroidery, and has a frill around all four edges. Each square contains a set of embroidered initials, and contributors would have paid a small sum of money to have their initials embroidered on the coverlet. It was made for the Zion Independent Chapel Bazaar in Morley, Leeds, and would have been sold or raffled as a funraiser for the church.
The Quilters' Guild Collection is held by The Quilters’ Guild of the British Isles.
