Peach coloured silk wholecloth cot quilt, with north country traditional quilt motifs of running feather down the centre with square diamond infill and a border of lined cable with roses at each corner. This piece is professionally made, and could have been part of one of the Rural Industries or Northern Industries Workrooms schemes that encouraged traditional crafts and were sold through fashionable outlets.
