Crazy patchwork coverlet made from plain and patterned man-made/artificial fabrics which have been foundation pieced onto a plain cotton backing. The seams of the pieces are covered with a decorative herringbone stitch. The reverse of the piece is made from rectangular pieces of black man-made/artificial fabrics, and the piece has been hand quilted in black thread in a clamshell design.
