Fragment with a central rosette surrounded by concentric borders of hexagons and frames made from strips of silk braids and ribbons likely to have been used for furnishings. The hexagons have been pieced over papers and many of the papers remain in situ. Possibly made by Ellen Charnley (nee Smart) of Wigan.
