Elongated hexagon patchwork tablecover arranged with a central star pattern with fussy cut hexagons from various printed and plain fabrics. The remaining shapes are randomly arranged. The overall shape of the tablecover is octagonal. It was made by Katherine MacDonald of Edinburgh, possibly whilst living in Callendar or the South East of England, in later life.
