Shadow quilted mattress pocket, made from a light blue satin with a quilted floral motif and two pocket compartments that have piped edges. The stiffened section slots in between the mattress and bed base so that the pocket compartment hangs parallel to the side of the bed.
The top layer of fabric is not as translucent as normally found in other examples of shadow quilting, providing a very subtle colour change through the top layer of fabric from the coloured wadding.
