Pink Crazy Coverlet made from pink satin corset fabric with green embroidery stitches over the joins of the crazy patchwork. In the centre is a green embroidered floral motif. The edges are unfinished. The Crazy patchwork has been foundation pieced onto a backing fabric made from flour sacks which have printed/stamped lettering in a Spanish, words include; Fidso (Flour), Molino (Mill), Pesto (weight), Frigo (wheat or grain).
It is thought to have been made in the Bristol area as there were many shops in Bristol that made corsets and underwear, and the pieces that went into making this coverlet could have been off-cuts. The flour sacks may have originated from Bristol Docks.
