White linen wholecloth cot quilt, thought to date around 1700, densely quilted with a central medallion and a border of arches that each contain a different pictoral quilting motif. The central medallion features a lady and the border of sixteen arches contains motifs including a mermaid, a merman, a sailing ship, a castle, a lion, a camel and other animals.
