Hand sewn patchwork made from trapezoid shapes of various different artificial, jersey, knitted and cotton fabrics which have been seamed rather than paper pieced together. Each seam has been embellished with cross stitch embroidery. On the reverse a machine embroidered floral artificial silk sheet has been used. The two layers are not caught down together. The shapes in the central third are smaller than those on either side.
