'Geocentric Folly' uses the block Bachelor's Puzzle, which has been further divided to create more patches. The arrangement of light, medium and dark tones of fabric create an illusionary effect, and the fabrics themselves include scraps more than twenty years old and hand dyed fabrics. It is hand quilted using two different threads. Commissioned and presented by Region 13 (Cheshire, Lancashire, Merseyside, Isle of Man, North Wales and Greater Manchester).
A quilt from The Nineties Collection - quilts commissioned from quiltmakers working during the 1990s.
