Sea green coloured rayon quilt with elaborate design of distinctively Welsh motifs, including double hearts, spirals, pennies, and leaves in a clearly framed layout. It one of a family of identical designs which were sold by Country Industries ltd, a London outlet for hand quilted items created under the Rural Industries Bureau, and initiative established to help in the depressed areas of Wales and the North Country.
