Yellow satin hand quilted nightdress case with triangular fold over flap with scalloped edges. The lining is a lilac satin. Made by Elfrida Harrison for her niece Jean Harrison as part of her trousseau upon marriage in 1945.Elfrida died in 1949 at the age of 75. Jean also received an embroidered night dress case from a friend which she liked more, and so consequently this quilted case was never used.
