This quilt was pieced by machine by my grandmother Mary Gardner in Kokomo Indiana, USA. It was quilted and finished on a visit to Oregon with my mother Joyce Hatton in the late 1980's. It has fabrics familiar to my family from the 1960's onwards. I remember seeing a lot of these same scraps show up in Barbie clothes and other sewing projects. It is now on my bed in England, so this quilt has traveled quite a bit!
