Quilt Museum Volunteer featured in Live & Love York magazine

Museum volunteer Amy Thorpe is a second year student studying contemporary fine art practice at York St John. Her textile artwork 'Icecreams' is featured in the current edition of Live & Love York magazine. Amy was a finalist in the magazine's monthlyartwork 'creative brief' competition. She used recycled fabrics found in local charity shops to create this interpretation of the competition's theme 'High Summer'. Congratulations Amy! Check out the other winners here.
