How will you spend your International Quilting Day? Here at the Museum we’ll be delighted to spend some of our day with Stuart Hillard notable Quilt designer and a constant source of inspiration to the quilting community ( you can see lots of Stuart’s designs in magazines such as Popular Patchwork. He loves our collections and will be drawing more ideas from `Town and Country’ , `Signature V by zero3’ and `CQ@10’ our current amazing shows. You can also catch up with Stuart’s video tutorials on YouTube here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U8OpBmrzdNk or get a snapshot of the Museum here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sEmlFhUFQCc
So why not spend International Quilting Day being amazed and inspired by the beautiful quilts on display in the Museum – and then go home and join the Quilters’ Guild for the many benefits of companionship, learning and enjoyment it offers. You could start with one of Stuart’s designs or a book or pattern from our shop.
However you spend it, have a great IQD!
