Volunteers at the Quilt Museum and Gallery have been involved in two projects to celebrate leTour de France coming to Yorkshire next month.
Fifteen volunteers and members of Young Quilters have submitted work in a new exhibition Quilts inspired by le Tour De France in the Aldwark Gallery at the Quilt Museum and Gallery on until 30 August.
Volunteers have also been involved in a project entitled 'Dressed to impress' being managed by City of York Council to make banners to decorate the city walls. Quilt Museum and volunteers contributed their time to make over 40, 5 metre banners which are now being decorated by community groups around the city.
